Slides

Slides represent the main CU3ER content. Great range of available settings enables you to thoroughly configure all of the slide visual aspects. Slides configuration options are grouped as:

  • Slide defaults - common slide properties for all slides
  • Slide single (particular) - specific slide properties for particular slide

What you will learn:

  • Particular slide settingsSlide properties for particular slide.
  • Slide default settingsCommon slide properties for all slides.

Slide defaults

This is, obviously, the place where you define all common slide properties for every slide. To access to default slides properties click on 'Settings' -> Slides button

You will notice that slide property bar appears on the bottom of the cManager, similar to the image below :

Available Settings

  • General

    • Start from slide - slide you want playback to start from after CU3ER being loaded.
    • Slides duration - general duration (presence) of the slide before transition to the next slide takes place. This value is considered only if autoplay feature is deployed; otherwise it's ignored.
    • Randomize slide order - check this box if you want CU3ER to randomize slide appearance order
  • Playback

    • Loop - instruct CU3ER to loop/cycle through all slides for specified number of times
    • Autoplay slides - instruct CU3ER to cycle through slides automatically after specific amount of time(defined in 'Slides duration')
    • Pause on rollover - instruct CU3ER to pause circling through slides while mouse is positioned over the slider.
  • Align & Offset - position slides container within CU3ER swf
  • Size - define slide container size
  • Image align and offset - define image position within a slide. For example, if your image is not the same size as the slide, you can position it within the slide to display a desired area of image
  • Image transform - by default, all images are added in slides without scale. Transform settings enables you to horizontally and/or vertically scale your image at your convenience.
  • Color - background color of the slide. For example, it is useful if you set custom image scale; in some circumstances image dimensions might be smaller than slide dimension, which will reveal slide background.
  • Link - make it clickable by setting desired common link and link target for all slides.

Slide particular (custom)

Place where you define properties for each particular slide and override defined default settings if needed.

To access particular slide property bar and change or override slide settings you can:

  • Click on current slide/image on stage.
  • Click on any timeline slide thumbnail.

Slide property bar will be shown as on the image below:

There are two groups of settings available through tabs:

  • Slide - general slide settings

  • Image align and offset - define image position within a slide. For example, if your image is not the same size as the slide, you can position it within the slide to display a desired area of image
  • Image transform - by default, all images are added in slides without scale. Transform settings enables you to horizontally and/or vertically scale your image at your convenience.
  • Color - background color of the slide. For example, it is useful if you set custom image scale; in some circumstances image dimensions might be smaller than slide dimension, which will reveal slide background.
  • Link - make it clickable by setting desired common link and link target for all slides.
